Introduction

WINDOX-CV Tablets deliver a potent antibiotic combination of Cefpodoxime Proxetil 200 mg and Potassium Clavulanate (eq. to Clavulanic Acid) 125 mg. The beta-lactamase inhibitor Clavulanic Acid protects Cefpodoxime from enzymatic degradation, extending its spectrum against resistant bacterial strains. Pack: 10ร—10 film-coated tablets.

How WINDOX-CV Works

Cefpodoxime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis (PBP binding), leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic Acid irreversibly binds beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, preventing them from destroying Cefpodoxime and restoring its antibacterial efficacy.
